MET 236 - Statics for Engineering Technology
An introduction to Newton's laws of static equilibrium in coplanar and noncoplanar forces, using vectors and free-body diagram concepts. Specific topics include theory of moments, couples, analysis of structures, friction, centroids, and moments of inertia. Three lecture hours.
