DPT 630 - Clinical Education I
DPT 630 - Clinical Education I This is the first of three full-time, supervised clinical education experiences. The experience is designed to bridge didactic information and clinical skills experiences. Basic skills are practiced in each setting, with the development of physical therapy examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention skills. This course integrates all aspects of physical therapy learned in the first year of the professional phase of the DPT program. Students are expected to demonstrate professional behaviors in all interactions with patients, clients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals. Prerequisite(s): All DPT I courses successfully completed and all preparatory work (forms, assignments) completed.
