DPT 611 - Diagnosis and Intervention: Musculoskeletal Dysfunction II Laboratory
This laboratory course is designed in conjunction with DPT 610 to provide an opportunity for students to apply the examination and treatment techniques learned in DPT 610. Lab skills are specific to examination and treatment of the vertebral column, TMJ, SI joint. Manipulation is introduced as an intervention for spinal pathology. Functional movement assessment and treatment is emphasized. Case-based rationales are used to facilitate understanding of application of lab techniques to clinical practice.
Prerequisite(s): DPT 521 and DPT 522. Corequisite(s): DPT 610.
