NUR 201 - Foundations Nursing Practice
During this course, the student is introduced to professional nursing practice including evidence-based practice, communication, and professional values. Core learning objectives of this course include concepts of health and illness, vulnerable populations, nurse/patient relationship, communication, skill acquisition, and evidence-based care. Clinical and laboratory opportunities are provided for the student to apply theoretical concepts.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 202; NUR 205 and BIO 213. Corequisite(s): NUR 210 and NUR 215.
