LAH 250 - Legal Research and Writing I
Training in the use of primary and secondary sources of law. Study of the legal reasoning process, case and statutory analysis. Research and writing skills developed through lectures and assigned research and drafting exercises. Hands-on legal research using CaseMaker and Westlaw or Lexis. Emphasis on drafting skills for legal correspondence, including email correspondence and objective memoranda.
Prerequisite(s): LAH 201 (minimum grade of C); or permission of program director.
