EDYM 540 - Montessori Practicum This course offers an opportunity to practice the various professional and personal skills that a Montessori teacher uses. By working along with a qualified Montessori teacher in a children's group, the student may focus on one professional task at a time. Student-teachers may discern which facets of their personalities are appealing to young children and which are antagonistic to this stage of development. This practicum is an eight-week, full-time, supervised classroom experience in an accredited Montessori school.
