ECE 332 - Microprocessor Applications
ECE 332 - Microprocessor Applications A lecture course with studio and projects. A standard microcontroller is used in projects that make use of peripheral devices. The C language is primarily used; assembly language and internal organization including memory types and memory maps are introduced. Program optimization by using inline assembly language is introduced. Software tools include an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and debugger. The super-loop software structure and interrupts are introduced. Completion of at least two significant projects is required. Prerequisite(s): ECE 231 (minimum grade of C-).
