An introduction to research techniques and methods involving
a project guided by a faculty member and culminating in the
written presentation of results. Students enrolled in this
course acquire the foundations for making independent
decisions required to carry out original research. A
student may enroll in research (CH 282, 283, 482, 483, or
484) more than once; however, a maximum of 3 credits may be
applied toward chemistry electives required for the
chemistry minor. Prerequisite: CH 111 or equivalent and
permission of the department.
