EC 602 - Economics for Managers
This course applies both macro-economic and micro-economic theory to managerial decision-making problems. In particular, the course focuses on demand and supply analysis, consumer behavior, theory of cost and production, market structure and pricing strategies, national income accounting, the role of money in the economy, the role of government in the economy, and global aspects of the economy as they relate to managerial decisions. In addition, the course includes an application of regression analysis to managerial decision making. Finally, the course demonstrates the application of a combined micro- and macro-economic analysis in effective managerial decision-making.
Prerequisite(s): EC 602 or permission of instructor.
