MSOT 603 - Assessment throughout the Lifespan
An overview of measurement principles, process, examination, selection, administration, and evaluation of a variety of measurement tools used in occupational therapy practice will be provided. This course focuses on reliability, validity, norms, psychometric properties of tests and measurement, and ethical implications of testing. This course will allow students with the opportunity to apply measurement principles and skills in selection, administration, and interpretation of assessment through case studies. Students will examine test results and evidence to guide development of intervention plans and activities with diverse populations. May require travel.
Prerequisite(s): MSOT 506, MSOT 512, and MSOT 520.
