HS 345W - Introduction to Immunology
An introduction to the basic principles of Immunology. Topics include: cells and tissues of the immune system, innate and adaptive immunity, antigen recognition and processing, cellular and humoral immunity, the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), immunologic tolerance, tumor and transplant immunology, hypersensitivity, and autoimmune, immunodeficiency, and immunoproliferative diseases.
Prerequisite(s): BIO 122, BIO 212, BIO 213, and either CH 110 and CH 111P, or CH 114 and CH 136.
