Thermodynamic principles of refrigeration; refrigerants; psychrometrics; air-conditioning processes; physiological considerations of thermal comfort, calculation of heating, cooling loads of structures; analysis and sizing of thermal and energy distribution systems; indoor noise control; energy calculations; special design project requiring written term paper and oral presentation.
