EX 421W - Exercise Prescription for Special Populations
This course provides an advanced overview of the principles and practice of exercise testing and prescription in special population clients of all ages. Special populations include those with chronic and temporary health conditions. This course reviews the effects that growth and maturation have on physical performance as well as the theory and practice of selecting age appropriate fitness promoting activities. This is a writing intensive course.
Prerequisite(s): EX 370W and exercise science major; or permission of instructor.
