LAH 210 - Civil Litigation I
Nature and background of the litigation process from initial interview through appeal in state and federal courts. The course will examine the structure of the court system, the application of rules of civil procedure, and the drafting of pleadings, motions, and other documents in a lawsuit. The course will analyze pretrial, trial, and post-trial processes.
Prerequisite(s): LAH 201 (minimum grade of C); or permission of program director.
