UISC 140D - Native American Cultures
By combining critical perspectives in anthropology, history, and the humanities, this integrative course seeks to broaden student awareness of the many complex Native American cultures. Topics focus on social, cultural, and political issues that have been, and still are, central to the lives of Native American people. Readings are from various sources: history, literature, autobiography, anthropology, art history, and music history. Students are expected to write critical reports and participate in group art projects and presentations. (Formerly AUCC 140)
