MSF 281 - Montessori Foundational Principles & Theories
This course addresses the fundamental Montessori methodology of preparing environments for living and learning that are structured according the developmental needs of the person. The preparation of the Montessori teacher in the observational skills required and in the various methods used to foster independence and personal responsibility is the other major focus of this course, with particular attention to multi-age groups and learning opportunities.
